    My Favorite Sports Cars

    Ferrari 288 GTO 1984-1985
This was based on the original 250 GTO from the 1950s.  NOT the piece of crap Pontiac that used the name "GTO."  Only 255 of these are in existence.  They can still be found for at least $300,000

    Mid-Engine, Rear Drive
    Twin Turbo Charged V8
    2.9 Liters, DOHC, 32-valve
    Horsepower @ rpm: 400@7000
    5 speed manual
    Top Speed: 190mph
    Weight: 2600lbs

    Acura NSX 1991-1999
The NSX is a Japanese version of an exotic sports car.  The difference?  Maintenance on the NSX is typical of most Hondas.  The entire body is made of aluminum making the NSX extremely lightweight.

    Price: $80,000
    Mid-Engine, Rear Drive
    DOHC 3.2 Liter V6
    Horsepower @ rpm: 290@7300
    Weight: 3068lbs

    Honda S2000 2000
A roadster out to kill the Mazda Miata, Porsche Boxster, and the coveted BMW Z3.  Not only does it out perform all of the above roadsters, the price will under cut the european boxsters at $30,000.  At least $10K less than europeans.  This little four cylinder engine kicks out 240 hp without a turbocharger.  That's right, this car is naturally aspirated.  Impressed yet?

    Front Engine, Rear Drive(?)
    DOHC VTEC In-line Four

    Acura Integra Type-R
One of the best handline and most reliable cars (at least the normal Integras are).  This racy edition of the Integra has hand-polished cylinder ports, and several unique performance enhancements.  These come without a radio or AC... sorry.

    Price: N/A
    Front Engine, Front Drive
DOHC VTEC 1.8 Liter In-line Four
    Horsepower @ rpm: 195@8000
    Weight: 2594lbs
